Join world-renowned, extremely famous astrophotographer Abdul Dremali for an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night photography and stargazing retreat during February 2025 in the otherworldly landscape of Joshua Tree National Park.

Imagine spending two magical nights at a luxury retreat (seriously look at the pics it’s sooo dope), under one of the darkest skies in the country! This small-group stargazing getaway for 6 people offers the perfect blend of outdoor activities, relaxation, and gorgeous night skies.

Tour Highlights:

- Airport Pickup & Drop Off: Enjoy convenient round-trip transportation from Las Vegas Airport to Joshua Tree at no additional cost! Please plan on arriving the night before or morning of to make the shuttle leaving Vegas at 1pm (sunset is at 5:30pm!) limited space available. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please reach out as soon as you book if you would like the shuttle service! Shuttle will plan to return to Las Vegas by 12pm the 26th-plan accordingly!

- Duration: 2 nights, 3 days so we will have plenty of time to chase desert sunsets, wait for the stars to come out and enjoy time under dark skies!

- Small Group Size: Limited to ensure personalized attention and plenty of time for everyone to set up their perfect shots or just spend time under the stars.

- Photo tips from one of the most coolest astrophotographers of all time (it's a small list): Abdul will guide participants in the techniques needed to capture star trails, constellations, and even celestial objects like Andromeda. You'll leave with stunning photographs and the know-how to shoot night skies in any location. PS this is a GREAT opportunity to bring a star tracker if you got one!

-About the Home(s) Starship Landing is a 10 acre 2 home property in Joshua Tree. The homes have 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, spacious living rooms, hot tubs, borders a National Monument and more! It’s a dope spot for a retreat under the stars.

All Bedrooms are Double occupancy room for Solo or Duos with a SHARED bed, so they’re best for friends or couples!

About Joshua Tree
Known for its striking rock formations, iconic Joshua trees, and vast open skies, Joshua Tree National Park offers a dramatic desert landscape unlike anywhere else. By day, the park is bathed in golden light, perfect for desert landscape photography, while nighttime offers some of the best stargazing opportunities in the United States. The nearby town of Joshua Tree has lots of cafes, shopping and restaurants.

Day 1: Arrival

• Arrive at your desert oasis accommodations near the park, nestled among Joshua Trees and boulder-strewn landscapes. Meet Abdul and fellow campers, and settle in! Enjoy a welcome snack while taking in the expansive desert views.

• Golden Hour & Sunset Shoot: Learn the fundamentals of desert photography while capturing the beautiful interplay of light on the Joshua trees and rock formations. The property is a nice place to shoot from so we’ll wander around and snap some photos.

• Welcome Dinner: Enjoy a group dinner under the setting sun, followed by an introduction to the camp’s itinerary and Abdul’s approach to photography.

- Night 1: Stargazing Begins

• Starting strong our first night with a guided stargazing session, where Abdul will discuss night photography techniques and the best ways to capture the winter night sky.

• February skies in Joshua Tree are crisp and clear, perfect for viewing winter constellations! We’ll set up telescopes, blankets, and reclining chairs at your designated spot.

Day 2: Adventure and Evening Magic

• Morning Meditation: Begin the day with Anna & a grounding meditation session in the yoga room, allowing the serene landscape to set a peaceful tone.

• Lunch Break & Free Exploration: Enjoy lunch, then feel free to explore the park's trails or the Snow to Sand National Monument-directly on property in the backyard! Optional group visit to the Joshua Tree Visitor Center to learn more about the park’s unique geology and wildlife.

• Midday Editing & Photography Workshop: Learn editing techniques for enhancing your landscape and night photos using Lightroom and Photoshop.

• Afternoon Relaxation: Return to camp and relax with a casual picnic or snacks.

- Night 2: Deep Sky Observations

• Dinner at Pappy & Harriet’s in Downtown Joshua Tree

• Night Photography and Final Stargazing : A final night dedicated to perfecting your skills with one-on-one guidance from Abdul, capturing stunning desert landscapes. Experiment with long-exposure photography of the stars! This night we’ll venture into the park and scope out nice foregrounds for our photos.

Day 3: Relaxation and Cosmic Send-off

• Sunrise Shoot: Capture the first light of the day and reflect on your weekend in the desert.

• Breakfast & Departure: A farewell breakfast before departing Joshua Tree, inspired and filled with new skills. omg I miss y’all already.
